James Robertson - A Brief Biography

So who is producing the content on this page?:

The office in a previous life...

James Robertson served as an officer and helicopter pilot with the British Army from 2000 to retirement as a Major in 2019. He flew on operations in Afghanistan in a diverse range of roles from 2006 to 2011 before being diagnosed with a vertebral fracture which led to a shift of career focus.

For the remainder of his career, James specialised in the design and implementation of mission training and wider education of others in his profession. He planned and personally delivered instruction in the classroom, on exercise and in simulators to the next generation of pilots and ground commanders.

Despite the obvious requirement to focus on the detailed, technical aspects of aviation operations, James unearthed a real passion for human psychology and motivation theory which he hopes to promote through coaching and mentoring others.

James is a beneficiary of the tremendous support the British public have provided through Help For Heroes and the Royal British Legion. He is passionate about promoting mental health and supporting Mind, the mental health charity. He has pledged to donate 10% of all money he earns through business to support these charities. Simone and James with the 2018 Which Award

James, Simone and their two boys returned to live close to family in Milton Keynes during the summer of 2018. They are now putting their efforts into life as budding entrepreneurs whilst helping others set and achieve their own goals.

Simone already had a network marketing business saving people money on their household bills with Utility Warehouse (thus the name of the website "Save With Simone") and they are are proud to be partnered with a FTSE 250 company that has won multiple independent consumer awards over the last decade.

As James is now retiring from the military, he is planning to work much more actively in the business and is looking for a small number of individuals to mentor on a 1to1 basis. (watch the video HERE)

In time, James and Simone are also planning to setup and run free courses and training events/retreats for people who have struggled with domestic violence, mental health and traumatic life events. This is an entirely separate project and will be setup as a charitable foundation. Further detail will follow in due course... watch this space!
